Randy R. Ferguson – Owner & CEO

A proud Marine Corps Veteran, Randy returned after serving his country to the transportation industry he had known since he was a young man. For his efforts in growing Gangloff Industries, he was named the 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. He also began a local scholarship program to support high school students in music and the arts—an annual scholarship program that he continues to support to this day. Very active in the community, Randy has served as the President of the local Logansport High School Music Boosters and has been active with the local fundraising for Economic development for the Logansport Downtown Business District. He is currently serving on the Parent Council at Butler University and has been actively serving since 2014.

Luke Gangloff

Luke Gangloff, like his father Mark Gangloff, was raised around the trucking business. After graduating from Indiana State University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Luke returned to Logansport with his wife Ashley to join Gangloff Industries, Inc. as part of the Administration Team. As Vice President, Luke assists with the day-to-day operations in dispatch, Safety, and Technical support.

Tracey Foutz

I am very proud to be a member of the Gangloff team. My journey with Gangloff trucking began fifteen years ago when my youngest son was two and I have really grown with the company since. I have lived in Logansport since I was thirteen. I have been married twenty five years to my husband Brian and have five children and three beautiful grand-babies. As part of the administrative team I do all the billing and payroll and several other things that help us to run a successful business.

Since 1999, Gangloff Industries has been an honored supporter of the music and arts programs at five Indiana high schools. Every year, five area high school students are awarded a $1,000 scholarship provided by Gangloff Industries in recognition and support of their talents. The scholarship program provides teachers with the opportunity to select the student most deserving of recognition at the four high schools in Cass County, Indiana—the home of Gangloff Industries—as well as at North Miami High School, the alma mater of Randy Ferguson.

Why Music & the Arts?

In parallel with the founding of Gangloff Industries, owner Randy Ferguson saw a need. In the case of music and the arts, it was a need for encouragement. Many students are recognized and supported for talent in sports and academics, but there was less opportunity for music students to be recognized for their abilities. Gangloff Industries, therefore, has provided five $1,000 scholarships every year since 1999 to encourage and reward those students, both for their talent and for remaining in the arts throughout high school.

Founded in 1992 in Logansport, Indiana, Gangloff Industries, Inc. started from a prior company Gangloff and Downham, which had discontinued operations. Randy R. Ferguson, Owner/CEO, along with Mark Gangloff, President, wanted to make their own vision of a transportation company while answering the need for a refrigerated transportation company.

Mark—who is the owner of the Property that is home to Gangloff Industries, Inc.—has spent his entire life associated with the transportation industry in many different roles.

Together Randy and Mark have a combined total of over 80 yrs experience in the industry, the majority of which is temperature controlled. Gangloff first started in 1992 with 16 company trucks, an additional five owner/operator trucks, and 40 trailers. Today, the company has expanded to 24 company trucks, 15 owner operators, and 105 trailers.

Along the way, Gangloff Industries has gained a reputation for providing excellent customer service, growing their number of customers served over time through the virtues and values of their dedication to premier service and providing the highest quality care.
